For over 20 years, pulsed dye laser treatments have been used to help patients who suffer from embarrassing facial redness to regain their confidence and a smooth, blemish-free complexion.
What is the pulsed dye laser?
Pulsed dye laser energy is aimed at target blood vessels, destroying them while perfectly preserving the surrounding healthy skin cells. Any skin disorder in which discoloration or redness is an issue will respond extremely well to treatment with the pulsed dye laser. The procedure can be customized to your needs, with the exact number of sessions varying according to the size of the facial area treated and the severity of the imperfections.
Some of the most common ailments PDL is known to treat include:
- Facial redness
- Facial scarring
- Wrinkles and fine lines
- Rosacea
- Port wine stains
- Angiomas
- Capillaries
- Poikiloderma
- Stretch marks
- Bruising following injection treatments or surgery

What is the V Beam?
Clients who suffer from warts, scars, stretch marks, spider veins, birthmarks or rosacea are faced daily with negative feelings about their appearances, and sometimes even negative reactions to their complexions from others. Luckily there are several excellent solutions that Dr. Weber can provide for his Denver and Lone Tree patients that can help improve their quality of life and restore their skin to its natural, radiant beauty. The state-of-the-art V Beam laser is a highly effective yet gentle method of reducing facial blemishes.
It is so gentle that it can be used on children and infants. With the V Beam comes a patented Dynamic Cooling Device (DCD) that emits a fine mist of cryogen, or cooling agent, as it heats the skin. This helps to protect the patient from discomfort while the laser painlessly eradicates the targeted blood vessels. The V Beam laser is truly considered the gold standard in vascular reduction.
What are the advantages of treatment with V Beam?
- Helps treat rosacea, scarring, red pigmented lesions, broken capillaries and veins, port wine stains, brown spots, stretch marks, wrinkles and birthmarks
- Painless and gentle
- Short treatment time
- Appropriate for patients of all ages
- No anesthesia
- Improves self-confidence in one’s image
- No scarring than other similar procedures
- Cooling system keeps patient comfortable
What can I expect from recovery?
Dr. Weber will immediately apply a moisturizer to the skin to protect and heal it. This can be repeated at home several times a day to keep the skin moist and hydrated. You should be sure to shield your skin from the sun for the first few days to help prevent pigmentation changes while you are healing.
You will be able to apply makeup again on the second or third day of your recovery. If any crusts form on your skin, it’s important that you not pick at them. The crusts as well as some minor bruising and swelling are normal reactions to the treatment and will all disappear shortly.
Why should I consider working with Dr. Weber in Lone Tree?
While improving your complexion is not the same thing as plastic surgery, you should only entrust your skin to a board certified Facial Plastic Surgeon who oversees every stage of your treatment.
This ensures uniform, personalized results that are tailored to your wishes and lifestyle.
Dr. Weber delivers outstanding outcomes and always makes sure his patients are well informed and educated about their options before they move forward. The well being of his clients is always Dr. Weber’s top priority in any given situation.
