Here at Weber Facial Plastic Surgery, we’re constantly searching for new ways that can allow us to offer our patients a truly elevated cosmetic experience. We’ve enjoyed a reputation for excellence, and this is only made possible by our commitment to the latest technology and the most advanced techniques available. A key component of this offering involves our commitment to in-office surgery, which enables you to enjoy a more direct connection with your surgical team, lower costs, and a whole host of additional benefits.
Our practice is home to a bevy of both surgical and non-surgical offerings, each one giving you the ability to address some of life’s most common cosmetic concerns so you can show the world an enhanced version of yourself (and enjoy all of the exciting self-confidence that comes along with doing so).
Why In-Office Surgery?
Honestly, it’s quite simple: performing surgery in-office is just better for everyone. It’s better for you, it’s better for your doctor, and it’s better for your surgical team in that everyone is able to exercise more control over the entire experience.
Anesthesia Options
You’ll have the option, for example, to forego general anesthesia or IV sedation if you would prefer. Instead of rendering you fully unconscious, we can offer you oral sedation and local anesthesia. This avoids the risks, expense and potential complications of general anesthesia at an ambulatory surgery center. By utilizing a mixture of sedation, relaxation techniques, and traditional local anesthesia, Dr. Weber is often able to perform procedures without the need for or risks associated with some narcotic medications. Dr. Weber refers to his comprehensive approach to in-office surgery as “beauty sleep” sedation.
Tumescent Anesthesia
A particular anesthetic technique that Dr. Weber frequently employs is known as “tumescent anesthesia.” This is a nearly painless alternative to traditional general anesthesia and is a nearly painless injectable process that enables you to avoid the need for a more extensive form of anesthesia.
What Procedures Do You Perform?
Dr. Weber is excited to offer the following procedures in the comfort of his own office:
- Upper eyelid surgery
- Lower eyelid surgery
- Focused brow lift surgery
- Deep plane facelift
- Deep neck lift
- Liposuction
- Chin augmentation
- Cheek augmentation
- Lip lifting
- Otoplasty (ear pinning)
- Buccal fat pad removal
At Weber Facial Plastic Surgery, over 90% of the above procedures are performed in our office surgical suite WITHOUT the need for an IV or general anesthesia. However, if you prefer a general anesthetic we will schedule this for you at a fully accredited ambulatory surgery center and you will be monitored there by an exceptional board-certified Anesthesiologist.
